Supraland Review

Updated: Jan 16, 2021

This game is a lot of things.

Everything this game describes itself as on the Steam Store is to be taken lightly. While yes, you can say it resembles Zelda or Metroid, it doesn't really follow the same tone or level format. Personally I found the gameplay to be closer to Portal combined with an early 2000's collectathon.

The unique art style is particularly notable. Every friendly NPC is a human cutout made of... something. Enemies are generic monsters that (fittingly) are very toy-like. And the most surprising aspect of this game is that it was largely made by one person.

There is going to be DLC soon (which I will review) so hopefully that'll make the game a little more lively.

7/10
