Everything Review

Relax and open your mind as calm music plays quietly in the background. Watch the 20 story building dance with a giant ladybug in a winter wasteland.

What's going on? Am I on crazy pills? No!

Everything is everything! Everything is the video game equivalent of meditation. You start as one thing, like a deer or frog, then you explore the world and become other things, like a tree or a helicopter or a bridge. After you have become everything, you can start growing and shrinking to the size of planets or galaxies and become more of everything. Everything is about relationships of the big and small, and how everything is connected.

Everything is a journey to the meaning of "place", whether it be the place of a stop sign or a supernova. Everything shows that everything is here in one existence. Everything helps you understand that the whole universe works together, not spiritually nor cognitively, but physically.

Everything also (posthumously) guest stars Alan Watts as a disembodied voice! He somewhat narrates the themes and ideas of the game as well as adds some companionship.

Overall, Everything has a little bit of everything (I couldn't help myself). I'd recommend it to people who are interested in Eastern Philosophy and big picture thinking.
